It aims to be a pixel-perfect, bug-for-bug clone of the original games, and is compatible with savegames from the DOS version.
Omnispeak also includes several new features, including:
* Improved graphics scaling and compatibility support.
* Dramatically improved joystick/gamepad support.
* QuickLoad and QuickSave support (F5 and F9 by default)
Omnispeak supports only these versions of the original games:
* Keen 4/5/6 EGA v1.4, Keen 6 EGA v1.5
Haiku specific paths:
* ~/config/non-packaged/data/omnispeak is the default folder for the game data files
* ~/config/settings/omnispeak is the default folder for saves and the config file if present
* ~/config/settings/Commander Keen/Omnispeak, fallback configuration folder if the default one isn't present
* /boot/system/data/omnispeak is where Omnispeak stores some extra data files it needs to run the supported games, these should be supplemented with files from the original copies and placed in '~/config/non-packaged/data/omnispeak' according to the game one wants to play.
