Ein WPA-Supplicant mit WPA und WPA2 Unterstützung

WPA_supplicant ist ein WPA-Supplicant für Linux, BSD, Mac OS X und Windows mit Unterstützung für WPA und WPA2 (IEEE 802.11i / RSN). Er eignet sich gleichermaßen für Desktop/Laptop Computer und Embedded Systeme. Supplicant ist die IEEE 802.1X/WPA Komponenten, die in den Client-Stationen benutzt werden. Er implementiert das Aushandeln des Schlüssels mit dem WPA-Authenticator und regelt das Roaming und IEEE 802.11 Authentication/Association des WLAN Treibers.
